So says FOX News.

After the Newtown tragedy, Westboro decided it was a good idea to protest the funerals with their usual hate-spewage. Bikers ended up surrounding the funeral service, denying Westboro entry.

So…FOX News decided to put this caption beneath a picture of that event:

“Bikers Turn Out to Protect Newtown Mourners from Left-Wing Westboro Cult.”

So I guess FOX News believes that religious zealots, who believe we have taken God out of our government, are now Left-wing cultists.

Really? I mean…really?

Westboro is a religious fundamentalist group. Most even classify them as a hate group. How is that even remotely consistent with left-wing ideologies? Hell, Westboro is so right wing that even other right-wingers dislike them.

It gets better. The article also refers to the bikers as ‘Conservative’:

Bikers descended on the town of Newtown yesterday and linked arms blocking the hate group protesters of Westboro Baptist Church from disrupting the funerals. (Free Republic)

Conservative bikers turned out yesterday to protect Newtown mourners from Democrat Fred Phelps and his Westboro cult from protesting.

Even the freaking Canadian Press knows Westboro is a right-wing cult. Here’s something from the Cochrane Times, based out of Alberta, Canada:

The vocal right-wing Christian group, whose website is godhatesfags.com, produced a video called "God Sent the Shooter," and has blamed the massacre on gay marriage. It put Hochsprung's funeral on its online "picket schedule."

How the hell does FOX News get away with this sort of nonsense? It’s delusional thinking at its best. No one in their right mind would call the Westboro Baptist Church a left-wing cult.

Well…unless they’re a part of a Nazi group or something. They might be considered even more extreme right-wing than Westboro, making Westboro a tad to the left of them.

I’ve seen it all now. Just when I thought FOX News couldn’t get any crazier...they did.
