Pat Robertson's 2012 Predictions

I can't help myself. I'm totally addicted (sick infatuation?) to Pat Robertson. How the hell did this guy get a TV show and why does anyone take him seriously?

I love this video. He talks about what God told him was going to happen in 2012. I was waiting for the lady interviewing him to reach over and bitch-slap some reality into him, but she just keeps nodding her head like a puppet. The guy is completely delusional but funny at the same time.

Watch. Feel your soul being sucked out by the crazy guy and join me in my infatuation with the Reverand - snake oil salesman - Pat Robertson.

Pat Robertson says God told him that President Obama is a radical who will bring on America's economic collapse

Lisa_Lee,

Not sure what that is but it sounds nasty and under that assumption, I am going to have to agree.

I cannot stand the hypocrite that is Pat Robertson.

Here is a clue for you Pat. We had a president who blew up the economy before president Obama took over for him. It was GW Bush and he just continued the Reaganomics planof screw the poor and give to the rich.

That is another reason I want to go to heaven. I don't think Pat will be there. ;~));~))

Didn't watch the video, wouldn't be able to stomach it. Did he predict his own demise?

The best is his closing statement "They are bringing judgement against themselves"....he would do well to heed THOSE words.

I pray daily, actually throughout my day, and I can honestly report the thought of giving God a multiple choice question is an affront to my Lord and Savior!

Isn't Pat Robertson the guy that basically said "God Damn America" and blamed 9-11, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes and tornadoes on "God's Wrath" on America?

Why does Pat hate America so much?

Deuteronomy 18:

21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

I'm pretty sure the $1900/ounce gold and the $300.00 per barrel oil and the rapid recovery of the US economy he predicted in 2009 "followed not," nor did they "come to pass."

GOD HIMSELF SAID NOT TO TRUST PAT ROBERTSON. If you believe Moses was a true prophet, that is...and if you believe the bible is the word of god and whatnot.

I have a prediction that whoever Pat thinks God told him will be president won't. Because Pat is not hearing God, he is litening to the lies of his political beliefs.

Pat, good bye and good riddance.

I can't get the video to play; anybody have a list of what the predictions are?

And, as an aside, when he was running for president in 1988, didn't he say that the whole rapture/armageddon/second coming thing would happen before 1992?

He was also busy telling how our current President is dividing the nation and such clap trap. It is Pat and the fools like him that are busy dividing the nation with their false bull@!$%#. What is terribly saddening is there are a bunch of lost idiots running about the country that believe the crap he and those like him sell.

If you believe in this anti Christ, he will be someone that comes preaching 'the word of god' that has nothing at all to do with the Word. People like Pat are laying the road for their own anti Christ. They are gleeful of the divisiveness they create and the chaos they hope to produce. They honestly want to bring about the end of the world and their Armageddon so they can be in heaven with their god. Fools. Hate filled, spiteful fools.

Those that follow the Golden rule(s), both Christian and non alike, are closer to Jesus' teachings than this man and his ilk ever were.

I don't know about senility, but dementia sure has!

I've seen senility. Forgetful, lost, befuddled. And yeah he seems to have a bit of that. But dementia on the other hand.... The guy is totally delusional, seems to be hearing things and hallucinating too. Very dangerous for a person with so much power. There are folks that hang on his every word as though it were gospel straight from god's own mouth.

Oh! What in the world?!! This is one of the reasons why I no longer watch religious shows on TV. There is no way that I could ever believe that God spoke to him that way. Does anyone take him seriously?! Sorry, Grisham, I don't even think it is funny. Between this kind of forcasting(?) and all of the promotions for money and purchasing materials after a sermon that has been shown on TV, I cannot bring myself to listen to any of it or take any of it seriously.

Also, I forgot to say, you are another person that has given me an 'in your face' reason why I do not pay attention to this stuff. Maybe I should start again, I might find a laugh for the day in watching some of these religious evangelists(?), sometimes unknowingly, make a fool out of themselves. Thanks for sharing.

Watching these Evangelical types is like watching a horror movie that doesn't end.

What a pfukking a$$hole. Given the state of christianity today they deserve this nutcase along with their other "prophets" Osteen, Dobson,Buchanan et al. The entirety of christianity is paralyzed by these damned idiots, but the so called "faithful" - whom ever they are - refused to speak out vociferously (or even at all). So, their tactic acquiescence will just increase the animosity between the "real" America and faux christianity.

Radical President who will destroy the country -- Wasn't that GWB???

Economic collapse -- I believe the rest of us call that the Great Recession (from which we seem to be recovering).

LOL! You have no idea! Both she and her hubby were also Birchers. Life-long. Pop came across them sitting with me one day on the front porch, during a visit of theirs to the big city. I was six or seven at the time. They had given me one of those insidious little pamphlets. At seven years old!

Pops ended that visit right then and there. Sent them packing within the hour. Mom wasn't too happy either! She was still chewing on her sister as they were backing out of the driveway!

ROFL!

Many a family feud has started with less.. Birchers indeed...

Ideas come and go, that is one of the things I think is sooo great about America, we Never run out of philosophies...good, bad or plain ugly. Everything from pacifists to war mongers. It is our tolerance in the main that makes for such diversity but when we need to we are a force to be reckoned with. :)

(*grinning!*) "Tolerance" is something I for one sure wish more people would embrace. Or return to. Or learn all over again. Or learn anew!

For the second part, so true. I'm always reminded of a line I heard once tho, it went something like,

"Those magnificent Americans! So much power yet so little understanding what to do with it!"

(*grins!*)

I prefer Pat's talking to God and mentioning someone, somewhere is getting healed from a nasty disease.

"I see a woman in Ames, Iowa is suffering from diverticulosis. God has just healed her."

A woman in Ames sees this, has a mouth full of peanuts then...BOOM. Pat's as obsolete as Father Coughlin.
